Gary Park

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Gary commenced with Ashton in 1991 and has held various key positions within the company including: Department Team Leader, Assembly/Machine Shop Supervisor, Factory Supervisor, Purchasing Officer and Production Assistant.

Gary’s knowledge of coffin and casket production is second-to-none and he is a highly skilled manager and team motivator.

Gary is a qualified Cabinetmaker, has a Diploma of Business Management and a Certificate IV Competitive Manufacturing. He is a qualified Work Place Health and Safety Officer and Rehabilitation Co-ordinator.

Debra Mackenzie

WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY / HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Debra’s primary responsibility at Ashton is Occupational Health and Safety, for which she is highly trained. Other areas of responsibility include Human Resource Management, Workplace Rehabilitation, First Aid and Fire Safety.

Debra has completed a Certificate IV in Business (Human Resources) and is also a qualified WHSO, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, First Aid Attendant and the company’s appointed Fire Safety Advisor. 

Previously Debra worked for Brims Wood Panels for 20 years. Originally in the Laboratory sampling, testing and recording physical and chemical properties of the various materials used and finally as the Workplace Health and Safety Officer and Human Resources Officer.

Joshua Fox

MARKETING / SPECIAL PROJECTS

Joshua oversees all of the marketing functions in the company. He is also responsible for a range of special projects undertaken by the organisation at a given time

Joshua has been with the company since 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Business through Griffith University and a Certificate III in Financial Services. He is also a Commissioner for Declarations in Queensland.
